The United States has conducted more testing than any other nation on Earth, and as a result, the true scope of the pandemic has been revealed within our borders. Experts claim that the virus will last anywhere between 18 and 24 months.
The U.S. is in focus as the nation with the highest case numbers and reported deaths of COVID-19. However, other countries across the world are not testing as much as the United States, nor are the hospitals reporting deaths in the same manner as the United States.
Also, our way of life, according to the researchers, is expected to change. The study, Covid-19: The CIDRAP Viewpoint, led by Dr. Kristine Moore compared the Coronavirus outbreak and the previous flu outbreaks and reported that the pandemic could last for up to two years.
“Risk communication messaging from government officials should incorporate the concept that this pandemic will not be over soon and that people need to be prepared for possible periodic resurgences of disease over the next two years.”
The hope is that the Coronavirus will wane; however, it may take time for that actually to happen. Further, should a vaccine be produced, it will help tamper off the rampant spread of the virus.
“We must be prepared for at least another 18 to 24 months of significant Covid-19 activity, with hot spots popping periodically in diverse geographic areas.

“As the pandemic wanes, it is likely that coronavirus will circulate in the human population and will synchronize to a seasonal pattern with diminished severity over time, as with other less pathogenic coronaviruses, such as betacoronavirus.”
In addition, a different report also noted the “blind spot” – poor ventilation in indoor spaces.
“They recommend providing effective ventilation of indoor areas, including supplying clean outdoor air, minimizing recirculation, and supplementing with local exhaust, high-efficiency air filtration, and germ-killing ultraviolet lights, especially in public buildings, workplaces, schools, hospitals, and nursing homes.
The impact could force businesses to renovate their buildings entirely. However, at home, maybe we should keep that window open.
Going back to the beginning of the Coronavirus, one glaring fact remains. The incompetence of the C.D.C assisted the virus.
“Two of the three C.D.C. laboratories in Atlanta that created the coronavirus test kits violated their own manufacturing standards, resulting in the agency sending tests that did not work to nearly all of the 100 state and local public health labs, according to the Food and Drug Administration.
Early on, the F.D.A., which oversees laboratory tests, sent Dr. Timothy Stenzel, chief of in vitro diagnostics and radiological health, to the C.D.C. labs to assess the problem, several officials said. He found an astonishing lack of expertise in commercial manufacturing and learned that nobody was in charge of the entire process, they said.
Problems ranged from researchers entering and exiting the coronavirus laboratories without changing their coats, to test ingredients being assembled in the same room where researchers were working on positive coronavirus samples, officials said. Those practices made the tests sent to public health labs unusable because they were contaminated with the Coronavirus, and produced some inconclusive results.”
Inundated with a pandemic, the United States economy is struggling, but going back to 2009 and reviewing the results of the H1N1 Swine Flu pandemic, show that the severity of the Coronavirus is similar, yet the response was different.
According to the available data, it is estimated that H1N1 cases across the world reached between 700 million and as many as 1.4 billion, with as many as 575 thousand who died from the pandemic. In comparison, the Coronavirus has reached nearly 13 million and has killed approximately 500 thousand, according to the data. However, those numbers are what have been reported. With the data available for H1N1, those are estimates in addition to the confirmed information available.
During the H1N1 crisis, a vaccine was produced; people were told to wash their hands and stay home if they were sick. Further, with the Coronavirus, several advanced measures have been taken, forcing people to stay home, mask mandates, and social distancing. However, there is no sign that a vaccine is on the horizon; experts claim one will be available hopefully within a year.
The real crisis, other than the virus, is the economy. Global elites have openly stated that they plan to reset the entire world economy and are planning to use the Coronavirus, as the tool to bring down the current infrastructure. More details will be available at the W.E.F. conference in January of 2021.
