China’s state-run media outlets have now blamed Italy for starting the Coronavirus. Further, Beijing initially accused the United States and now have twisted the words of an Italian physician, Giuseppe Remuzzi, to take the blame off of themselves.
The Coronavirus started in Wuhan, China. The Communist government of China covered up the first few cases of the Coronavirus by destroying samples and even charging a doctor with a misdemeanor for “spreading rumors.”
However, the communist nation is now suggesting that the virus originated in Italy, by taking the words of Giuseppe Remuzzi, an Italian Physician, and the director of the Mario Negri Institute for Pharmacological Research in Milan. The director, in an interview with NPR on March 19th, 2020, expressed that some doctors in Northern Italy “remember having seen very strange pneumonias, very severe, particularly in old people in December and even in November.”
The director was stating that the virus originated in China and may have spread elsewhere before it was commonly suspected. The State-controlled Global Times wrote on Twitter that “#Italy may have had an unexplained strain of pneumonia as early as November and December 2019 with highly suspected symptoms of #COVID19, reports said.”
The tweet is a misleading version of Remuzzi’s statement; “We can be certain that the virus emerged in Wuhan first, where it had probably been circulating for some time before it was made public in China,” Remuzzi told Foreign Policy, explaining that, if anything, the unconfirmed observations regarding previous cases of pneumonia in northern Italy would worsen—rather than ease—the burden of Chinese responsibility in covering up the early cases of COVID-19, the disease caused by the new Coronavirus. Genetic tests confirmed that the virus originated in China “beyond a shadow of a doubt,” said Remuzzi, who has recently been inundated with requests from Chinese journalists attempting to politicize his expertise to corroborate Beijing’s narrative.
To make matters worse, Beijing is preparing for the second wave of outbreaks. Sixty days have passed since the government of China locked the nation down, and now as those restrictions ease, the world is watching Hubei, home to sixty million people, for new cases to emerge. However, would Beijing even disclose the cases?

China has lied about the origins of the virus, covered up the number of initial cases, blamed the US, accused Italy, and has according to the residents of Wuhan, lied about the actual death toll.
The residents of Wuhan estimate the death toll of the Coronavirus to be around 40,000 a far worse number than what was reported by the Chinese government. According to Communist China, only 3,304 have perished as a result of the pandemic.
The reason that Wuhan residents believe the number dead to be far higher; according to reports in the British press, families have been receiving the ashes of loved ones since March 25th in the city. Seven funeral homes in Wuhan have been handing over up to 500 urns each per day, a total of the equivalent of 3,500 deaths per day.
In total, this situation is expected to continue until April 5th, which indicates a total of 42,000, residents surmise that the Coronavirus caused the deaths. “The official number of deaths cannot be correct because the funeral homes have been working all day. So, how can it be so few people have died,” said Zhang, a Wuhan resident in statements to Radio Free Asia, a local Chinese radio station. Another Wuhan resident said: “Maybe the authorities are gradually releasing the real figures so that people slowly accept reality.”
According to the Chinese Government, only 81,470 persons had contracted the virus, and only 3,304 had died as a result. However, in the United States, a much less densely populated country, the total numbers of cases have almost doubled that which was reported in China.
The Chinese government is lying and has lied continuously regarding the Coronavirus. Now, as China eases restrictions, there have already been 48 new cases that have emerged with one new death. Further, China, where the novel Coronavirus began, is claiming that the 48 cases were ‘imported’ in the past 24 hours.
So much of the world is depending on what figures China releases regarding a potential second wave; the problem is we cannot depend on China to disclose the Truth.
